Bucks county rules, for one thing. The visitor center is perfect for the state. It is a beautiful facility with lots of details about the local area, a nice little auditorium, and a gift shop. They host really nice community events, particularly for the holidays. The only downside is that the location is...weird. It's right next to a casino on a major road but not really a highway. It doesn't really do itself Justice, for one must seek it out, rather than stumbling in to learn about one of PA's most historical areas. Its also (sorry Bensalem) an ugly place. Just not a welcoming location for a welcome center. That being said, the facilities rock, and that's what really matters.
Wonderful place to visit, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great gift shop, and lots of history in this beautiful building. Put this place on your bucket list!
Was extremely impressed! What a beautiful structure, and the staff were just a treat! So helpful and cheery! So much to see and do while we were there during the Christmas season.
The people at the visitors center were very helpful and very nice in planning and giving us directions!!
Great place to get info for sightseeing & local ideas for the bucks county area, historical info & maps. Helpful staff. At Christmas time there are a lot of trees on display for a scavenger hunt & also a lovely classical ensemble from students.
