I refuse to give this Longhorn location more than 1 star. The food was excellent and service was good; so why such a poor rating you may ask. Because we called over an hpur before we arrived for call ahead seating at 6pm. When our entire party of 11 arrived, 5 kids no less, we were told just 35 more minutes. No problem. 2 members of pur party had to then go up and check on our table due to waiting over an hour then going on an hour and a half. We finally sit after 7:30, why did we wait so long and not just leave... because we had kids with us that had to eat. We finally sit and order, being sure to order our drinks, apps and food all at once at this point. The waitress then comes back to let us know that the order for the prime rib can't be fulfilled because they ran out of prime rib! We then tell the waitress that we are now very frustrated and she understands. Later to find out when we then ASK for a manager, she lets us know the she had told our manager earlier about our experience. This then adds to the fire, if a manager knew then why wouldn't they come to us apologizing, not have us asking to see them. The manager did come up and apologize but at that point, it was in our opinions, too late. Very disappointed. Looks like Texas Roadhouse for now on.
Stopped in after visiting the city. Just wanted something quick but not fast food. However it was anything but quick. Our main course took over a hour. Manager came over and spoke to us several times while waiting and comped our complete meal. Not really what we wanted but happy with the ending.
Went there 1pm on a monday. The place was not crowded. We had good service and the food was good. I ordered my burger well done & it was well done, no pink in the middle and not overcooked. My wife had the ribs and they were also cooked right & tasted good. It's a little out of the way for us but we will probably be going back again. Nicollet was our waitress, nice young girl.
A bartender named Michelle is the rudest person I have ever met. Took 5 minutes to even speak to me at their Take Out Area / bar and she didn't even come to me, she was yelling asking me what I needed. Then it took her another 5 minutes to get my order. She gave me an attitude the whole time. Was it because I was of a different race? Usually when I pick up an order, the server in charge of the take out area/bar takes everything I order out to show me and confirm my order as he/she puts my order in their paper bag. Michelle didn't do any of it and I ended up checking everything myself making me late for work! She brought my order out after 10 minutes. She was not busy at all. There were around 8 people in the restaurant that day and only a couple at the bar she is serving at. The couple even asked me if I was okay for I was seriously pissed. She is very rude and perhaps racist. I am very disappointed. Never going back if somebody like her doesn't straighten out. Horrible experience. Rude and racist!
The service was great and the strip steak was amazing. The only issue I had was when they brought the bread out, there was no knife to cut it. When I asked for a knife to cut the bread, our server said that Longhorn Corporate has decided to not provide a knife with the bread because it's now "pull apart" bread. I call BS because it's the same bread. Sorry but bring the knife back or give each customer a loaf of bread. I can't see how anyone thinks this is an improvement or how this is sanitary. And I was a little disappointed that our server didn't bring a knife....or another loaf of bread.
